Bukhari (Family : Bukhoro, Uzbekistan)
The Bukhari family originated in Bukhoro, Uzbekistan, and migrated to Jerusalem in 1616, where they built their home on the Via Dolorosa in the Old City. They descend from Muḥammad ibn Ismāʻīl Bukhārī (810-870). They own a private library of manuscripts, which also serves as the Uzbek Cultural Center.
