Ghadāmisī (Family : 19th century : Tombouctou, Mali)
Prominent trading family in Timbuktu, Mali. The trader ʻĪsa ibn Aḥmayd al-Ghadāmisī established a household in Timbuktu in the 1850s, if not earlier, and he specialized in trading gold, ostrich feathers, cloth and slaves north across the Sahara. His family members and slaves served as commercial agents for the business.
