- Dima Giyorgis; Däbrä Dima; Däbrä Dǝmaḥ; monastery; believed it was founded by abba Bäkimos (Täkäśtä Berhan) of Däbrä Asbo ca. 1376 ("a church dedicated to St. Mary in a cave at Dima"); raised to the status of a gädam in 1395 by Dawit II; new church built to replace cave church in 1655
