National Museum of Archaeology (Valletta, Malta)

The National Museum of Archaeology was founded in 1974, when the former National Museum was split into two institutions, with the fine arts collection moving to the moving to the Admiralty House to become the National Museum of Fine Arts. The archaeological collection remained at the Auberge de Provence, being renamed the National Museum of Archaeology.
