Masood Jhandir Research Library
Large private research library in Sardarpur Jhandir, in Pakistan. It was originally founded in 1890 by the scholar and poet, Malik Ghulam Muhammad (1865-1936), and in the 20th century Mian Masood Ahmad Jhandir, Mahmood Ahmad, and Ghulam Ahmad inherited a few hundred books from their father, Mian Sardar Muhammad. From the 1960s onward, they substantially increased the collection. As of 2023, the library holds about 2,000 manuscripts in Arabic, Persian, and Urdu.
