Abbaye Saint-Germain (Auxerre, France)
Benectine monastery in Auxerre, France. The site was originally an oratory founded in the 5th century by Germain, Bishop of Auxerre, and in 817 it was confirmed as a Benedictine monastery. In 1629, it joined the Congrégation de Saint-Maur and closed in the late 18th century.
