Martí, Ramón, -approximately 1286

Spanish Dominican theologian. He was a specialist in Arabic, Hebrew, an Chaldean. He was among a group of Dominicans commissioned to censor Hebrew manuscripts, and wrote an anti-Jewish text Capistrum Judaeorum. His most influential theological work, Pugio Fidei, also devoted attention to the falsity of the Jewish faith.
