Aguilera de Heredia, Sebastián, approximately 1565-approximately 1620
Spanish composer and organist, who served first as organist at Huesca Cathedral (1585) and then as first organist of La Seo (1603 until his death). He wrote organ and vocal music exclusively for the church, and he was known for his Canticum Beatissimae Virginis deiparae Mariae, a collection of 36 settings of the Magnificat.
