An American printmaker and teacher known for developing Indiana University's printmaking program, he founded Echo Press with David Keister 1979.

- Born January 14, 1925, died March 27, 2021; BFA and MFA from University of Colorado; served in the U.S. Army during WWII; taught at the University of Nebraska, then moved to Bloomington, IN, where he established the printmaking department and remained for the rest of his career
