Stephen, of Tournai, 1128-1203

Belgian-born prelate, jurist, and theologian. He was abbot of the Abbaye de Saint-Euverte d'Orléans, then of Sainte Geneviève in Paris. He was appointed bishop of Tournai in 1192. His canon law works focused on the Decretum Gratiani.
