Mosēs, Khorenatsʻi, 410-490

Renowned Armenian ancient historian and theologian of the Golden Age (5th century). Khorenatsʻi was a storyteller, interpreter, poet, translator, and "father of Armenian history." He is considered the most important figure of Armenian historiography. His work "History of Armenians" has been an educational manual for all levels.
