Israeli, Isaac, approximately 832-approximately 932
Jewish physician and philosopher who worked in the Fatimid court. He lived the first half of his life in Egypt, before moving to Qayrawān, Tunisia, between the years of 905-907. He wrote an epitome of Galen's De methodo medendi, also known as the Ars magna, translated by Constantine the African in the eleventh century.
