Yakob Vardapet, Ghrimetsʻi, 1360-1426

Armenian vardapet-theologian of the 14th-15th centuries, in late medieval Lake Van region (modern-day Eastern Turkey). He was a classmate of Grigor Khlatʻetsʻi at Cʻipnavankʻ, a monastry in Arckē (modern-day Adilcevaz, Eastern Turkey). He is known for his extensive work on the Armenian Calendar (Tomar).
