Late 5th/early 6th century author who wrote several texts, attributing them to the 1st-century author, Dionysius the Areopagite. The five texts that are typically identified with this Pseudo-Dionysius are: Divine Names, Mystical Theology, Celestial Hierarchy, Ecclesiastical Hierarchy, and a corpus of letters (which does not include the letter to Timothy concerning the deaths of the Apostles Peter and Paul).
