Martí I, King of Sicily, 1374-1409

Known as Martin the Younger, he was son of Martin I, King of Aragon, Valencia, Sardinia, and Corsica as well as Count of Barcelona from 1396. He became co-regent of Sicily by marriage to Maria of Aragon, Queen of Sicily, in 1390. Following the death of Maria in 1401, he married Blanche of Navarre of the Evreux family. He died during a conquest of Sicily in 1409. His father (the Elder) then acquired the Kingdom of Sicily.
