Pace, Carmelo, 1906-1993

Maltese composer and a professor of musical theory born in Valletta, Malta. He was a student of Vincenzo Ciappara, and later Carlo Fiamingo and thomas Mayne. He earned his music theory degrees from the Royal School of Music and London College of Music. He was made a Knight of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem in 1964, and Officer of the National Order of Merit in 1992.
