Francis, de Sales, 1567-1622

He was a French bishop, writer, Doctor of the Church, and Roman Catholic saint born in Thorens-Glières (Haute-Savoie, France). He served as Prince-Bishop of Geneva, residing in Annecy, and he founded the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary.
