Augé, Claude, 1854-1924
French educator, publisher, and lexicographer. He was initially a schoolteacher. After marrying a grandniece of Pierre Larousse's wife (1817-1875), he joined the Librairie Larousse in 1885 as an accounting assistant and quickly became one of the directors.
