Juan Bautista de la Concepción, 1561-1613

Spanish Trinitarian born in Almodóvar del Campo, Spain, the son of Marcos García Xixón and Isabel López Rico. He was founder of the Descalced Trinitarians in 1597, which became its own religious order authorized by the papacy in 1599. He was beatified in 1819, and canonized on May 25, 1975.
