French preacher and historian, who studied at the Universitè de Paris and was an Augustinian canon. He was Bishop of Saint-Jean-d'Acre (1216-1229), Cardinal-Bishop of Frascati, (1229-1240), and Patriarch of Jerusalem (1240)
