Atelier 17

Artist's studio, school, and printmaking workshop founded in 1927 in Paris by Stanley William Hayter. It operated in New York during World War II and moved back to Paris in 1950, where it operated until Hayter's death in 1988, at which point it was renamed Atelier Contrepoint.
