Celvetiyye
Celvetiyye is a Sufi order or ṭarīqah, a branch of the Bayramiyye order, and closely related to the Halvetiyye. It was founded by Mahmut Hüdayî (1543 or 1544-1628) in Istanbul, and was historically prominent in western and central Anatolia and in the Balkans. The name is derived from the Sufi's return to society after a spiritual retreat (jalwah).
