Reale Accademia di San Luca

Originally founded in 1593 in Rome as the Accademia di San Luca to replace the old artist's guild, with a focus on instruction. In 1872, it became the Reale Accademia di San Luca, and since 1948, it has been known as the Accademia nazionale di San Luca.
