Abbaye de Saint-Euverte d'Orléans (France)
The Abbaye de Saint-Euverte d'Orléans began as an oratory dedicated to Saint Euverte in the ninth century. In 956, canons regular formed an organized community on the site, and then attached itself to the Abbaye de Saint-Victor in Paris in the twelfth century. The abbey was destroyed several times during the medieval and early modern period, and finally closed in 1790 during the revolution.
