Torrentino, Lorenzo, -1563

Dutch printer and typographer (born Laurens Leenaertsz van der Beke), who had a printing house in Bologna, worked in Pescia, and was in the service of Cosimo I de' Medici, duke of Florence, and later of Emmanuel-Filiberto, duke of Savoy. His printing house in Florence was continued by his sons Leonardo, Romolo, and Bonaventura.
