Marsilius, of Inghen, -1396

German scholastic philosopher and theologian, who was the first rector of Universität Heidelberg. He wrote commentaries on Aristotelian metaphysics and on Peter Lombard's Sentences. He is credited with helping to disseminate the philosophy of William of Ockham in Germany.
