Bernard, of Compostella, -1267

Spanish canonist and chaplain to Pope Inncent IV known for his indexing of Innocent's "Apparatus" (entitled "Margarita"), which was a commentary on the Decretals of Gregory IX. He is often referred to as "Junior" or "Modernus" in order to distinguish him from another Bernard of Compostella, who was also a Spanish canonist and professor of law earlier in the thirteenth century.
