Martellini, Sebastiano, 1548-1635

Italian printer and typographer in Macerata, where he was printer for secular and ecclesiastical institutions within the municipality as well as publisher and book dealer for the faculty and students of the local stadium. During the Counter-Reformation, Sebastiano gained several prelates as clients. From 1573 to 1583, he was co-proprietor of a printing firm with Sertorio Monti. He died in Macerata on April 29, 1635.
