Description
Died after 1032/1623; author known for his work Musîbetnâme on the Osman case; used the name Tûgī in his poems; also Hüseyin b. Sefer b. Abdullah; born in Egrebeli, near Belgrade; went to Istanbul and entered the Janissary Corps and participated in military action, including the Iran campaign of Murad Pasha in 1610; wrote his Musîbetnâme after witnessing events resulting in the murder of Osman II; work also known as Vakʻa-i Sultan Osman and Tûgī Târihi; written sometime after Murad's death, probably between May 1622 and October 1623
