Shehadi, Beshara, 1871-1955
He was an interpreter for the government of New South Wales, Australia, who is best known for publishing the Confession of Pontius Pilate, which he allegedly translated from Arabic into English, before he moved to the United States where he continued to publish and operate a business in East Orange, New Jersey, until his death.

Shehadi, formerly interpreter of Arabic for the Government of N.S.W., Australia, where the first English Edition of this book was published in 1893."
