Dupuy, Pierre, 1582-1651

French scholar, who produced a manuscript inventory of the Trésors des chartes and produced several history texts, among them Traité des droits et des libertés de l'Église gallicane, avec les preuves (1639) and Histoire de l'ordre militaire des Templiers (1654). He was the son of Parisian humanist and bibliophile Claude Dupuy (1545-1594). He died in Paris on December 14, 1651.
