سليمان داؤود موسى الصائغ= Sulaymān Dāʼūd Mūsá al-Ṣāʼigh; born Sept. 28, 1886 in Mosul to a Chaldean family; ordained a priest in 1908; bishop in 1940, co-archbishop of Mosul in 1954; died on Sept. 18, 1861 in Baghdad; fluent in English, French, Syriac, Arabic; scholar of the church and Iraq; established the magazine al-Najm, wrote plays
