Cornelis, van Sneek, approximately 1455-1534

Dutch Dominican born in the province of Sneek, Netherlands, who worked mainly in Germany and was an opponent of the Reformation. His main literary work was a series of sermons on the rosary. His legacy library, which included 107 books, was left to the Bibliothek des St.-Johannis-Klosters in Rostock in 1542, and moved in 1575 in die Bibliothek der Marienkirche in Rostock. The Universitätsbibliothek Rostock purchased his library in 1842.
