Blado, Antonio, 1490-1567

Italian printer and typographer in Rome. Among the works that he produced were Greek classical and patristic texts under contract with the Roman Curia. Blado also worked for the bishops of Rieti and Foligno. He died in February 1567, while his firm continued with his four sons (Bartolomeo, Stefano, Paolo and Orazio) under the direction of his widow, Paola.
