- Description
- Hürremî, a poet named Mustafa; born in Sarajevo; lived sometime between 1688-1727; he went to Mostar in 1697-1698, fleeing Eugène de Savoie's attack on Sarajevo, where he worked as a clerk to the Mufti of Mostar; became assistant of Süleyman Efendi, kadı of Sarajevo; served as regent in various parts of Bosnia, including Yayçe and Ulog; wrote Nizâmüʼl-Ulemâ and some poems
