Ibn Fūdī, Muḥammad al-Bukhārī ibn ʻUthmān, 1785-approximately 1840
Studied under his father Usman and uncle Abdullahi, in whose house he was brought up. Played an important role in the early jihad campaigns and later settled at Tambawal, becoming the first Emir of that town.
