Bottoni, Bernardo, -1266

Italian canonist and professor. He taught at the Unversity of Bologna, was a canon at the Cathedral of Bologna, and served as chaplain to both Pope Innocent IV and Pope Alexander IV. He also produced glosses and summaries of religious texts, particularly the Gregorian Decretals.
