Bussi, Giovanni Andrea, 1417-1475

Italian Platonist philosopher and scribe, who edited and reproduced classical texts by hand and in print. He dedicated many of these texts to Pope Paul II, for whom he was papal librarian. He was made Bishop of Aleria, which he served from 1469 until his death.
