General notes
- Description
- His death date is uncertain. The source suggests that he died in approximately 1841, and that he finished his commentary in that year. Since the commentary is dedicated to Abdülmecit (r. 1839-1861), it is unlikely that he died as early as 1832.
- Description
- Died in 1841?; born in Bayat in Manisa; son of Hacı Ali; became a professor after completing his education in Istanbul; was appointed a professor at the Karaosmanzâde library and madrasah in Yayaköyü (Manisa); he possibly died in 1841, the year he completed his Nuhbe-i Vehbî (published in Istanbul in 1843), but this is uncertain
