Busenbaum, Hermann, 1600-1668
He was a German Jesuit theologian, who served as rector of the Jesuit college in Münster in 1653. He taught moral philosophy in Cologne, and these lessons served as the basis of his famous Medulla theologiae moralis.

- Busembaum, Herman; born in 1600 in Notelen (Westphalia); entered as a novice in 1619 and studied humanities, philosophy, scholastic and moral theology; he governed the colleges at Hildesheim and at Munster; he died as rector at Munster on January 31, 1668; he is famous for his manual of theology, which was originally the text of his lessons in moral theology at Cologne
