The Latin prose translation and reworking by Johannes de Alta Silva of the "Seven Wise Masters" (Sindbād-nāmah or The Book of Sindbad or The Book of Seven Viziers). Johannes de Alta Silva dedicated the work to Bishop Bertrand of Metz, from 1184-1212, dating the work to the late 12th or early 13th century.
