Virtutes apostolorum
A Latin rewriting of the Acts and Apocryphal Acts of the Apostles brought together into a coherent set of stories about the twelve Apostles discussing their acts (virtutes) and marytrdom (passio). The series likely emerged in a mostly coherent form in the late 7th or early 8th century in an Anglo-Saxon milieau.
