Simon, of Genoa, active 13th century. Synonyma medicinae

Late-medieval glossary of medical terms by Simon of Genoa, who endeavored to restore order to a lexicon that was confused by the diffusion of Latin, Greek, Arabic, and other languages. The work, which the author claimed to have taken thirty years to compile, was completed in the mid-1290s.
