Trithemius, Johannes, 1462-1516. Polygraphiae libri sex

Polygraphia is a cryptographic work published in 1518 and is comprised of six books of alphabets, ciphers, and tables and is accompanied by a key or clavis. The work may be a practical companion of Trithemius's earlier and theoretical work Steganographia (1499), or it may be simply a second part.
