Mkhitʻarean Miabanutʻiwn i Venetik
This is the Venetian monastery of the Mechitarists, an Armenian Roman Catholic congregation of monks founded as an order in 1701 with a main house in Venice since 1717. One branch of the order split from the Venetian group in 1773, establishing first in Trieste and then in Vienna (in 1805). They reunited with the Mechitarists in Venice in 2000.
