National Museum of Fine Arts (Malta)

The National Museum of Fine Arts at the Admiralty House was inaugurated on May 7, 1974. The collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts was previously located at the Auberge de Provence along with the artifacts that would be used to found the Museum of Archaeology, but the decision was made to split the collections into two museums under Heritage Malta. TheNational Museum of Fine Arts was closed in 2016 in preparation for its move to the Auberge d'Italie as the new MUŻA-Mużew Nazzjonali tal-Arti.
