Vengeur du Peuple (Ship of the line : 1791-1794)
Vengeur du Peuple was a 74-gun ship of the line previously known as the Marseillois (1767-1791). The ship's name was changed to the Vengeur du Peuple in 1791 during the French Revolution. The Vengeur du Peuple remained inactive from 1791 to 1794, when she was recommissioned at Rochefort on March 24, 1794. She was sunk during the battle of the Glorious First of June (1794), also called the the Bataille du 13 prairial an 2.
