Qādirīyah
Qādirīyah is a Sufi order (ṭarīqah), founded by ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī in Baghdad in the 12th century. The order is prominent in North Africa and other regions, having spread very widely both during and especially after Jīlānī's lifetime.

- Sufi order of dervishes named after ʿAbd al-Ḳādir al-Ḏj̲īlānī, who was a preacher and professor of Ḥanbalī law in Baghdad; system was established and propagated during the founder's lifetime; Ḳādirī community acknowledges nominal allegiance to the keeper of ʿAbd al-Ḳādir’s tomb in Bag̲h̲dād
