Nwyia, Paul, 1925-1980
Professor of Islamic Studies; born in Iraq, he became a Jesuit in 1948. He spent several years assisting the Chaldean Antonines of St. Hormisdas and was a professor of Islamic Studies at Université Saint-Joseph in Beirut. His research focused on Muslim mysticism.
