Jaume, de Aragón, 1301-1334

Son of Jaume II (James II) of Aragón and Blanche of Anjou, daughter of King Charles II of Naples and Mary of Hungary. He was tonsured on April 11, 1311 by Clement V and named honorary Chancellor of Aragón and abbot in commendam of the monastery of Jesús Nazareno de Montearagón. He was appointed Archbishop of Toledo on November 14, 1319 and ordained as bishop in 1320. He was later appointed Archbishop administrator of Tarragona on August 17, 1328 and made Titular Patriarch of Alexandria on August 27, 1328. He died at El Pobo (Teruel) on August 18, 1334.
